Superstrada to Siena exit at San Donato, then follow the directions for Castellina in Chianti, turn left to La Piazza, and turn to the right to Radda in Chianti. Time from Florence Certosa to Caparsa: 55 - 60 minutes. An alternative way is the road S.S. 222 Chiantigiana, from Greve in Chianti. |
from Arezzo, Roma and Florence by motorway A1 exit "Valdarno", from Montevarchi drive along S.S. 408 and then follow the signs to Radda in Chianti, at the Agip petrol-station of "Villa a Radda" follow signs to Florence. On the left side after 3 km you will find the entrance of the Estate (350 meters up the hill). Time from exit " Valdarno" to the Estate Caparsa: 30 - 35 minutes (about 25 Km). Distance from motorway exit A1 of Bettolle to Caparsa: 55 Km. Distance to main towns: Siena 32 km. - Firenze 45 km. - Arezzo 60 km. - Greve 18 km.- Gaiole in Chianti 10 km. - Castellina in Chianti 13 km. - Castelnuovo Berardenga 24 km. from Siena, Drive on the S.S. 222 road to Castellina, then turn left (S.S. 429) to Radda in Chianti. When you arrive at La Croce (1 km before Radda) turn left down the little road. At the end turn left again. After 50 meters on your left you will find the entrance of the Estate (350 meters up the hill). Time from Siena North to Caparsa: 30 - 35 minutes.
